The world of photography has changed since smartphones feature good built-in cameras. And with all the apps that are available – that allow you to turn your photo into a small piece of art – this new way of photography is getting more popular by the day. On the Flickr community, the iPhone 4 is the most used camera. So let’s take a look at these 5 great photo apps (aside from Instagram off course)…
Camera+
Packed with several useful features that your standard camera app doesn’t include, your pics will improve the instant you start using Camera+. Great filters that include: Color, Retro, Special and I Love Analog. Crop and adjust your photo’s right away. And share them by e-mail, or on Flickr, FB or Twitter. I especially like the ‘clarity’ function, since my iPhone doesn’t perform that well in low-light conditions, it allowed me to make this one turn out nice:
Pictureframes HD Pro
Great way to share a couple of your favorite photos in one post. Adjust the frame to make it bigger or smaller in real time, color the borders, make images to rounded corners, and share via FB, Twitter and Tumblr (!).
360 Panorama
This is great, and so easy. Just tap the screen and pan your device in any direction. You’ll see your panorama being built in realtime as every incoming frame is processed. When you’re done, you can instantly save your panorama, and I like to edit them in the Camera+ app.
Groupshot
Perfect for a group of friends, a group of girls or impatient children that don’t like posing. You know how these things go: ‘I don’t look good on this picture’, ‘I like my face more on that picture’… This is all solved now: The innovative GroupShot allows you to create a perfect photo by choosing the best face in every picture you took. I like the ‘performing magic’ when it’s creating your GroupShot photo. See how it works here. Only downside: The resolution of the photos…
GIF shop
Just a lot of fun. Create quirky images like these we made at IN10. Good feature: Onion skin shows you the last photo so you can line up the next shot.
