Hoe ziet de toekomst van informatietechnologie er uit? Hoe klinkt het? Hoe werkt het? Designer Lukas Franciszkeiwicz boog zich over dit vraagstuk en maakte bovenstaande minimalistische machine, dat veel weg heeft van een stuk speelgoed. Zijn instrument, Beta, is “adapted for the social networking revolution that also makes a profound statement about our modern addiction to digital interaction & how computers already dictate our decisions.”
“Beta reduces the interaction between human & machine to the three basic needs: consumption of content, communication, and processing data. Technical reflection is substituted by physical intuition.” Lukas lijkt ervan overtuigd dat computers straks onze reacties kunnen voorspellen en de basis zijn van onze toekomstige relaties.
