Rotterdam is the maritime capital of Europe. This message marked the start of the international marketing strategy in 2018, initiated by Rotterdam Partners, Havenbedrijf Rotterdam, the Drechtsteden and the municipality of Rotterdam, together with the Rotterdam Maritime Board. We created a platform with the aim of further strengthening the maritime industry.

Platform 2.0

We defined three objectives based on our findings and learnings from the past two years for further development:

1. Profiling the regional maritime ecosystem as the most complete and competitive maritime cluster in the world;
2. Forming the source for all relevant information about the cluster, the network and the partners;
3. Connecting, supporting and strengthening the network.

In this update we developed a redesign, optimized the navigation structure and gave a more prominent role to content. Moreover, the platform is now completely WCAG 2.1 accessible. With this future proof platform, Rotterdam Maritime Capital of Europe can continue to work on its objectives. Update successful!
